Event Record Update: Manage Visibility of Student-Facing Details (2025/03)

We’ve introduced three new fields to the Event Record page, giving you greater control over how event information is shared with students. These additions allow for a more flexible and intentional presentation of event details in the student-facing portal.

New Fields Breakdown

1. Display Title to Student
This checkbox determines whether the event title is visible to the student. You can hide the title from the student view while still retaining it internally within the control panel for staff visibility and reference.

2. Start/End Date Display to Student
Use this dropdown to control how the event’s start and end dates and times appear to students. Options allow you to hide or show portions of this information as needed—helpful for internal-only planning or limited release of event details.

3. Display Available Seats to Student
When checked, students will be able to see how many seats are available out of the total event capacity. Uncheck this box to hide seat availability while still managing registration limits internally.

These enhancements give you the power to tailor what students see based on your event goals—whether that’s building urgency, simplifying choices, or keeping internal logistics behind the scenes.
